This is a line from my all time favorite boxing movie Cinderella Man. (If you've never seen it, you can watch the scene here.) It sounds incredibly violent, but to me, it means to take control. I used to own a tailoring shop and I would do a lot of work on wedding dresses, which can be extremely frustrating. Whenever I would get angry enough to quit on a job I would tell myself to "fill his face with blood." Obviously I wasn't really beating up a man, but I can tell you that by the end of the day that those wedding dresses knew who was boss.
